How many days till i get kicked out of the house i rent?

I've been late with my rent and this month will be the second month, ig to the pay or quit letter and now the landlord is threatening me to get out by the end of this week, ain't I supposed to get a letter from him first?? how long does the eviction process last, and how many days do they give me, I'm so stressed out!!Please help, i need a number to call to for info!!How many days till i get kicked out of the house i rent?
Don't stress - he CANNOT just kick you out at the end of the week. That would be illegal.





YES- He must give you a pay or quite notice before anything else can happen. If you are still not out by the time that notice expires, he then must file an eviction with the court. The court will give you a date to be out by. If you are not out by THAT date then the sheriff will come and remove you.

um...how many days 'till the end of the week? That's your answer! Were you just late? Maybe you should have talked to them if you knew you were going to be late. It seems like you must have been late more than once or he wouldn't be kicking you out already. Are you two months late? That's a different issue. That's not late. That's non-payment. Maybe you better go live with your parents if you're that irresponsible. no offense, but I wouldn't want to rent to someone who wasn't or couldn't pay me. We have bums in our own families we could do that for. If you're family, then it's a little different. Is there some labor you could offer to do? I've you've been laid off or injured and cannot work, they might understand. If you're just too lazy to go to work, then they won't. Maybe you should get a roommate.
Just pay the d@mn rent and stop worrying about ways to screw over the landlord. You promised to pay your rent and now you aren't. He is supposed to ignore the fact that he has bills and obligations of his own that rely on your rent money.





Forget about the phone number. Just move out now and save your self some headaches and additional costs from the eviction process.



Every locality is different. Landlord can get an eviction order in less than a week where I am. Then you are out. Pay the rent and stop playing games because being homeless is not a joke. Once evicted no landlord will rent to you.
