How do I get my mom to realize she can't afford where we live with rent and bills?

She works a 33000 dollar job and gets about 1800 monthly. Rent is 1500 a month and bills are about 500 dollars a month with late payments. Then there is gas needed. She has been late 6 months in a row now with the rent. I can't find a job and I've even gone to temp places. They turn me down because of my education. we were better off in our last house. Family won't help either. What options are there? How do I get my mom to realize she can't afford where we live with rent and bills?
Honestly, at $33,000/year, how did she manage to get an apt at $1500/month. Depending on the lease, it may not be worth moving. With this market, maybe your mother could renegotiate the rent.

There are a few options but only if your mother is ready to do it.

Get fuel assistance, since she earns under $40,000, she may be able to get help here. Talk to credit card companies about lowering %, tough in this market.

Move to a cheaper apt (if your apt includes utilities, this might not help).

If you are still in school, you can help, but it will be limited. See about a weekend job. If you are out of school, there are plenty of jobs for people without any education. Even working at McDonald's will help you keep a roof over your head.

There are different solutions, but since we only know part of the story, I can only throw some ideas at you.

Good luckHow do I get my mom to realize she can't afford where we live with rent and bills?
Holy cow where the heck are you living that your paying $1500 a month in rent? Sit down with your mom and add the bills up with her, if she can't see that the rent and the other bills are more than she's taking home then somethings wrong. I would advise you to start looking in the papers etc for another place to live asap. How old are you that places are turning you down because of your education? You should be able to get a job at any fast food place to help with the bills. I think the best thing that you can do is just sit down and have a serious discussion with her about the finances etc and what can be done to change them.
Don't tell her about not being able to afford your house, Instead, ask her to show you how she plans to get through and afford the house. Then set a goal date and make plan about what should be done if and when her plan fails.

Do your best to make her plan work. That is if there is a plan.
How old are you? you might need to try harder to get some sort of work. it looks like anything will help. Clean houses or something like that. You can get jobs that dont require education.
You should tell her what you just wrote. Also move into a cheaper apartment.
Keep looking for a job and spend less, (starting with late payments).
