the play RENT, how long is it? os it like 2 and a half hours with a 15 minute intermission or is it something else??? we need to find out before we go to new york so we can see is we can get a train and stuff. so plzz help me outHow long is the musical RENT?

i love it. its about 2 and a half hours.
Even one minute is too long. All that overacting and hyper-hipness and whining about their lives and ghastly music/lyrics -- utter dreck.





People bellowing on stage and dancing around does NOT somehow automatically equal art. There has to be some point to it, and some intelligence behind it. I can't belief this crapfest won the Pulitzer -- that alone made me look forward to seeing it initially. To say I was disappointed and a little irritated would be an understatement.





The best thing about the show was the parody it received in the funny revue ';Forbidden Broadway'; -- they deemed it ';Rant';. Very funny skewering about all the hype around the show.
