How does Section 8 determents if your rent is more than 50% of your income?

We are applying for section 8 and about to get denied because our rent is a little under than 50% of our gross income(by $30).





I was wondering may be somebody know, how they calculate those numbers, so may be we still can get it?





Or maybe somebody know where I can go to find that out? Like a non profit that helps with that kind of issues ?

They go according to your income. Usually it is 30% of your incomeis how much you spend. Call the Section 8 office and speak with a worker---they can tell u also.
