How much do you earn ? And how much rent do you pay ?

I am asking because i live at my dads and wondered if i get a flat for 95 I take home about 拢200 would I be able to get help with the rent as a single person, earning this ammount of money ?

If your under 25 then no, the council will only give you the rate for a house share or bedsit which is about 拢65 a week in most areas. On a 拢200 wage the council would say that you are quite capable of paying this yourself so they wouldn't help you.





If your over 25 you would get the 1 bedroom rate, if this is the case you might get a bit of help but still not enough for you to live comfortably on. At most you'd receive about 拢15-20 a week housing benefit, you'd still be responsible for council tax, gas/electric/water etc.How much do you earn ? And how much rent do you pay ?

I earn 297ish and pay 425 a month plus a rediculous amount of coucil tax and all the other house hold bills
