My dad has just sent his driving license off to the dvla to change his address. The thing is we are travelling to orlando in under 4 weeks, what happens if his new driving license is not back in time?? (we are from the UK)
How long does it usually take?
Would he be able to get a temporary license and use it with Dollar rent a car?

you should be able to have a temporary car with a temporary licence
as long as it,s all legal i see no permanent problems.
if they can rent a car out to you with it ,then drive it.
